Silas joins the Coalition with five seasons of experience in the backcountry and on sustainable farms in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest. Their subsequent work building community partnerships and programming for agriculture and arts nonprofits grew from these formative years in the outdoors, as does their commitment to the Coalition. They hold a B.A. in Comparative American Studies from Oberlin College and a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in affiliation with Tufts University.
