Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sami is a first generation city girl coming from a long lineage of farmers and ranchers. Now calling Atlanta her home, she identifies as a multidisciplinary professional, currently traveling the road of operations in agriculture non-profits. She holds two BBAs (Management and Supply Chain Management) and is Project Management certified. In her free time she is heavily focused on decolonizing the fashion industry, fighting for workers’ rights from fiber to runway, and reviving sewing as an essential skill. Far removed from work and projects, she can be found cuddling her pets, growing some herbs, or exploring a range of animated works.
