Farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners have one more day to apply for financial assistance through Section 22007 of the Inflation Reduction Act. Applications may be submitted online through the program website at 22007apply.gov, in person at a DFAP local office, or by mail. The full list of offices and their operating hours can be found at 22007apply.gov/local-assistance.html.

• Applications submitted by mail (including overnight mail) must be postmarked no later than January 13, 2024.
• Applications submitted in person at a local office must be received by 8 pm local time on January 13, 2024.
• Applications submitted online must be submitted (not merely started) by 11:59 pm PT on January 13, 2024. Online submissions must use the website portal—applications and supporting documentation received by email are not able to be considered.

Offices will remain open until 8:00 pm local time and the call center will be available until midnight PT on the day of the deadline.

The DFAP Call Center will assist you with general inquiries and answer questions you may have in completing your application. You can reach them by email at info@22007apply.gov or phone at 1-800-721-0970. The DFAP Call Center is open from 8 am Eastern to 8 pm Pacific, 7 days per week.

If you would like to schedule time at a DFAP local office, please call the DFAP Call Center at 1-800-721-0970. After selecting your preferred language, press Option 3. This will connect you with a team member who will help you with setting an appointment—in person at a local office, on the phone, or virtually—that fits your schedule.

Local Offices

Team members can assist you with the following services:

• Completing and filing your application through eFile or on a paper copy
• Checking the status of your application
• Assisting you with scanning images of your documentation
• Providing interpretation and translation services
• Access to computers for filling out and filing your application

Please remember; filing an application is free, you are not required to have an attorney assist you in order to apply, and DFAP team members can provide no-cost help. If you choose to come into a local office, parking is always free. When you arrive, look for the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) signage. See below for local offices.

Please Note: Local offices will be closed in observance of all federal holidays. All applications must be submitted by January 13, 2024. (All customer offices will be open January 13, 2024, until 8 pm local time, for drop off of Applications. All customer offices will also be open January 16 & 17, 2024, to allow for timely drop off of supporting documents for Applications submitted by January 13, 2024, but Applications will not be accepted after January 13, 2024). All customer offices will be closed starting January 18, 2024.
