FrontLine Farming is a POC & Womxn based grassroots organization that works from an asset- based perspective to bring education, equitable policies and beyond-organic, affordable food to the communities we serve and represent in Denver, Colorado. We formed to take control of our narrative around our work as POC, womxn, and nonbinary folk who are farmers, advocates, and educators. With the Young Farmers grant money, we plan to create a robust chicken program for eggs and meat, to provide educational opportunities for our community members, to create ceremony, and to learn from the different cultural and traditional practices that can inform greater regenerative practices.
