Tianna Kennedy

Tianna has been farming in the Northern Catskills for over a decade. Currently, she owns and operates Star Route Farm, LLC with Amanda Wong and Walter Riesen. Star Route’s diversified vegetable and small grain operation serves food justice organizations in the Catskills and NYC. Tianna also founded and operates The 607 CSA, an 800+ person multi-farm CSA Project supporting 45 farms and food businesses in Otsego, Schoharie, and Delaware counties and delivering to the Catskills, Hudson Valley, and the five boroughs. Tianna sits on the Board of CADE, Grownby, and Unadilla Community Farm. She is a member of the Watershed Ag Economic Viability Committee and Congressman Delgado’s Agriculture Advisory Committee. She started the Catskills Chapter of the National Young Farmers’ Coalition. She is also a founding member of Delhi’s Bushel Collective and the Schooner Apollonia, a Hudson Valley Sail Freight venture. For fun, she grows botanicals and distills absinthe, obsesses over her chickens and dogs, and plays cello with friends.
