Tiana Suazo is a Taos/Jemez Pueblo woman who is a graduate of Santa Fe Indian School and received her BA in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She is the Executive Director of Red Willow Center and serves on the boards for Alianza de Agricultura in Taos, NM and Ogallala Commons in Nazareth, TX. Tiana plans to use this funding for her learning center in Taos Pueblo. The learning center, located on her farm, will focus on teaching market gardening and food processing; while holding safe space for community conversation around historical/intergenerational trauma, gender roles, and substance abuse.
