Timothy, aka TemuAsyr Martin Bey, a native from Compton, California, is an established plant-based executive chef, urban farmer, fashion designer, entrepreneur, health coach, and 5 time author. He is highly regarded in his community for his holistic approach to cooking and health. He was awarded a Certificate of Acknowledgment by the mayor and city council of Compton for his service directing the Compton Community Garden during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. He now is a member of the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s new BIPOC Advisory committee to aid bridging the gap between urban and commercial farming. His current objective is to create resources for his local community through increased urban farms, grocery stores, restaurants, and markets.
