Growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina, Nick developed a strong affinity for agriculture. The destructive impacts of conventional production were impossible to ignore, so he focused his attention on ecological and regenerative methods. After graduating from George Washington University, Nick returned to NC to work at PTB Farm, a small diversified farm with organic vegetable production and pasture-raised livestock. Nick is currently the livestock manager, overseeing cattle, pig, and chicken operations. In his free time he advocates for better policies in North Carolina around agriculture and food access as a part of the NC Food System Advocacy Coalition.
