Megan grew up in the Four Corners region of the Southwest and is inspired by working to make local and regional food systems more holistic, inclusive, and equitable. Prior to joining Young Farmers, Megan worked as a food security coordinator for a small nonprofit and researched issues of agricultural labor in Colorado. She now helps operate a diversified vegetable farm with her partner in Southwest Colorado. Megan holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Western Colorado University and a B.S. in Sociology and Anthropology from Southern Oregon University.
