Manuel Juarez is a local farmer, rancher, entrepreneur, and content creator in Laredo, Texas. After earning his Master’s degree from Texas State University, where he studied hydroponics and sustainable farming, Manuel moved back to his family’s farm and ranch in South Texas. Here, he spent a couple years working with an environmental non-profit and gained experience in community engagement, advocacy work, species and habitat conservation, and more. In 2020, Manuel and his family started their sustainable farm and ranch business, Palo Blanco Farm and Ranch, and they have been working together to provide Laredo with fresh, local, and healthy food with a unique farm-to-table experience. Manuel loves living and working on the land that has been in his family for over 160 years and creating content for his family farm’s social media platforms. When he’s not farming and ranching, Manuel enjoys practicing yoga and meditation, recording and performing music, birdwatching, kayaking, working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
