Kellee is a farmer and educator at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, at UC Santa Cruz, and focuses on seed sovereignty as a platform for building community health and determination. Kellee is a fourth generation queer japanese-chinese american, born and raised in Los Angeles, and came to farming as the intersection of past work in community health, cultural reclamation, and environmental justice. Kellee is most passionate about land access and reparations for BIPOC farmers.
