Jamila comes to Young Farmers with a background in educational leadership, a love for growing food, and a passion for making the future of farming as sustainable and restorative as possible. Deepening her step into agriculture, Jamila will serve the Young Farmers Board, staff, and community as the Special Projects Associate Director, leveraging her planning and communication skills to enhance the efficiency of our processes and systems. She holds a BS in Business, MS in Counseling, and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. Outside of work, catch Jamila tending her community garden plot and planning her future regenerative farm in Wisconsin.
