Jac (or Jaclyn) helps facilitate the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN) in the Northeast. Jac has worked in agriculture for a decade – on farms, with non-profits, and in education. Jac received a Ph.D. in Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison for their research on social power and resistance strategizes in Midwest farming communities. Jac’s research and and organizing focused specifically on queer farmers, and took them to Australia where they became passionate about farmer stress, wellness, and mental health. Jac is thrilled to collaborate with farmers and ag service providers on FRSAN-NE.
