Jac (or Jaclyn) helps facilitate the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN) in the Northeast. Jac has worked in agriculture for a decade – on farms, with non-profits, and in education. Jac received a Ph.D. in Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison for their research on social power and resistance strategies in Midwest farming communities. Jac’s research and organizing focused specifically on queer farmers, which took them to Australia where they became passionate about farmer stress, wellness, and mental health. Jac is thrilled to collaborate with farmers and agriculture service providers on FRSAN-NE.
