Evanne Caviness has been living and ranching in the Southwestern United States since childhood and is proud to represent her Latina farming heritage in her community. Prior to working with Young Farmers, she was a certified Special Education teacher and Gifted and Talented Director for public schools in both Arizona and Colorado. She currently runs a grass-fed beef business in the foothills of the San Juan Mountains of Bayfield, Colorado at 7000 feet alongside her husband and two children. Her ranch focuses on regenerative practices to raise healthy, happy cattle in harmony with nature while simultaneously healing the land. Evanne holds Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Spanish from Northern Arizona University. She enjoys crocheting, sewing, gardening, and fishing in her free time.
