Erika comes to the National Young Farmers Coalition with a diverse agricultural background that includes farming experience in the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and Brooklyn, New York. Since leaving the fields, Erika has worked on a variety of food justice initiatives, including being the current Farm-to-School Coordinator for the City of Beacon School District. She holds a B.A. in History and Economics from SUNY Purchase where she studied Latin American agrarian reform and Indigenous resistance. Erika is passionate about creating a more just and equitable food system.
