Brooke is a seed sower, agroecologist, and visual storyteller committed to cultivating relationships of reciprocity with the land and communities. Brooke is a founding collective member of Agroecology Commons, a worker self-directed non-profit that cultivates knowledge sharing, community action, and global solidarity for decolonized land stewardship, collective healing, and justice within the food movement. At Agroecology Commons Farm, she cooperatively stewards 3 acres, where she is beekeeping, implementing holistic soil practices, and is actively building out an educational farm incubator site with other collective members. Brooke holds a Master of Science in Agroecology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in conjunction with Spain’s Universidad de Córdoba. When she doesn’t have her hands in the soil, she enjoys surfing, foraging, backpacking, and sewing.
