Alyssa Bentele

Alyssa Clarida is a Land Steward for Colorado West Land Trust, where she supports landowners in preserving and enhancing the conservation values of their land. She is engaged in issues related to land access, soil health, and water security. Prior to CWLT, she worked for the Colorado Department of Agriculture supporting Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Western Colorado. She grew up near Joliet, IL and received her B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies from Augustana College, where she cultivated an interest in sustainable agriculture. Alyssa moved to the high desert of Western Colorado in 2016 and now lives, works, wanders, canoes, and gardens in the North Fork Valley.
