Bizhi Farms is a Native-led farm operating on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico. We grow traditional Navajo corn, melons, and squashes and now specializing in hydroponics by growing leafy greens, herbs, and fruits. The goal of the Bizhi Farms is to provide fresh fruits and vegetables and continue growing traditional Navajo foods through using hydroponic system to Navajo families. The funding will allow us to purchase more hydroponic systems which will contribute to increase food production, Navajo food sovereignty, and increase access to fresh foods.
