Please complete the pre-readings and plan to arrive on time.
- To understand how racism permeates our food system by exploring the historical and current examples of land theft, labor exploitation, racial violence, and front lines resistance.
- To reflect upon our current role as farmers, activists, artists, and movement builders in perpetuating or dismantling racism in the food system.
- To develop relationships of mutual understanding and plan for collective action between organizations and individuals working on food justice in this region.
- To develop concrete action plans to dismantle racism and other oppression in local food systems.
