Listening Session: Produce Safety Plan writing from a Farmer’s Perspective

We want to hear about your experience writing a farm food safety plan. The good, the bad, and the ugly!

With the National Farmers Union, the National Young Farmers Coalition is planning an online food safety plan writing class with peer-to-peer study groups. We’re holding an online listening session at 3 pm Eastern on February 27th for farmers who have tried to write or successfully written a farm food safety plan. Our goal and intention is to make a curriculum and format that really meets the needs of small farmers. We’ll want to hear about resources you used, templates that were more or less helpful, process, timeline, stumbling blocks, and more.

We’ll also be introducing a few of our new resources and discussing our upcoming produce safety spring trainings.

We’re holding a separate listening session for food safety trainers who want to provide their feedback.

Please register so that we know who is coming. We’ll be using Zoom and the meeting link is here. If this is your first time using Zoom, please leave yourself a little time to download it.
