Western PA Farmland Access Listening Session

Join the National Young Farmers Coalition for a listening session to discuss the farmland access and tenure challenges that you have faced as a farmer or as an aspiring farmer in Western Pennsylvania.

Farmer voices are critical to informing our state and federal legislators about what farmers need to succeed. Through this farmer-to-farmer conversation, we will identify common challenges around access to land for farmers in Western PA and work to build a land access policy platform to advocate for changes in the state.

All farmer voices are essential to the conversation; whether you are just getting started or have been a lifelong farmer, everyone is encouraged to join. This session is free and includes dinner and a chance to meet other local farmers.

For farmers who are unable to attend the session in person, we will be distributing an online survey to make sure all voices are included.  Additional in-person listening sessions will be held in central and eastern PA later this summer and early fall.
