Oregon Beginning Farmer Land & Water Training

Join us for two days of land and water education!

Come for one or both days. On Sunday evening, stay for a farmer plenary session, dinner potluck and farm camp out.


SundaySeptember 17:

12pm – 3pm: Tools and strategies for accessing affordable farmland

3:30-4:30pm: Oregon water with Lane County Watermaster

4:30-5:45pm: Interactive walk-through of NYFC’s new Land Access Calculator

6-7pm: Tour of Two Rivers Farm

7-8:30pm: Potluck dinner & farmer plenary with Paul Atkinson and Amber Lippert – bring a dish to share

Bring you camping gear and sleep out on the farm! 



Monday, September 18:

7:30-8:30am: Breakfast

8:30-9:30am: Beginning farmer visioning course

9:30am-12pm: Financing your farm vision, Andrea Krahmer [Northwest Farm Credit Services]

12-1pm: Lunch from 100 Mile Bakery

12:30-1:30pm: Navigating OR water law, Adell Amos [University of Oregon]

1:30-3pm: Networking with local service providers and workshop presenters
