NYFC Advocacy Training & Denver Lobby Day

You’re invited! Please join the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC) in Denver for an advocacy training and lobby day on Tuesday, February 13th.
The 2018 Colorado General Assembly is a busy one for NYFC. We’re working on several issues that matter to you – including bills addressing land access, water security, rural development and training opportunities for next generation farmers and ranchers.
During this legislative session, it’s important for legislators to hear from farmers and ranchers on these issues and for you to share your stories.
To further these efforts, NYFC is hosting an advocacy training and lobby day on to help make sure your voice is heard.
Details:
When: February 13th, 9am-3:30pm – optional happy hour to follow!
Where: Meet at the NYFC Office at 9am, 1536 Wynkoop Street Denver, CO 80202 – food and coffee provided. We’ll host an advocacy training at the office then make our way to the Capitol to meet with legislators.
Who: YOU! Farmers, ranchers and supporters who care about the next generation of agriculture.
Please RSVP by February 2nd. Contact Alex Funk, Western Policy Director, alex@youngfarmers.org with any questions. Please let us know if travel is prohibitive—NYFC is committed to making these events as accessible as possible.
Thank you for your hard work and for being a part of NYFC. We look forward to seeing you in Denver!
