Colorado Water Conservation Board

CRS 37-60-102 created the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) as a state agency that serves for the benefit of the present and future Coloradans. There are 15 CWCB Board members, 6 of which hold seats based on their office in the Colorado state government, 9 of which are directly appointed by the governor. The 9 appointed members are chosen geographically and serve 3 year terms. No more than five appointees to the board shall be members of the same political party. All Board memberships are volunteer.
