The Western Pennsylvania Young Farmers Coalition held our first meeting as an official chapter at the beginning of March. We are really excited about the formation of our chapter! In the coming month, we will take stock of our members’ common goals to create a guiding mission statement. In the meantime we are looking forward to a few potlucks around the region this summer and building our cohort. A few of our chapter leaders are preparing to attend a lobby day in Harrisburg at the end of April with farmers from across the state.
