It’s not too late to be involved in IATP’s Food + Justice = Democracy conference that was held in September. The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy held the conference in Minneapolis, MN on September 24-26. The conference, reaching out to people of every community, ethnic group, class and gender identity, drafted a collection of food justice principles that will guide IATP work moving forward, as a network.
Regardless of whether you were there, you can join the conversation on the outcomes of the national meeting, and next steps in bringing the work back to our communities, organizations and policymakers in order to define and create the food system we want: One that’s fair, healthy and sustainable for everyone.
The discussion will feature IATP’s LaDonna Redmond and other key Food + Justice = Democracy participants.
