Mechanical Innovation in Agriculture: Farmers + Engineers brainstorming together
We hope you will join the National Young Farmers’ Coalition, the Greenhorns and MIT as we bring together farmers and engineers to brainstorm and invent farm tools together, all day on March 5, 2011.
If you can’t join us for the full day of roll-up-your-sleeves workshopping, come in the evening for our open-to-the-public social event, including a presentation of results from the day. We hope to livestream video of the results at this link, at about 7pm
Event details and RSVP here
To get the creative ideas flowing, project pitches for the day are here (add yours!)
The slides below will give you a window into the program for the day!

Thanks to the event sponsors: MIT Public Service Center, Microsoft NERD, National Young Farmers’ Coalition, The Greenhorns, Bon Appétit Management Corporation, MIT Food+Agriculture Collaborative, Hunger Mountain Coop
